Waterford and Kilkenny are in the top ten most visited places in Ireland.
The figures released by Failte Ireland relate to oversees visitors coming to the south east counties.
The number people who travel from overseas to the south east, pale in comparison to those who come to see our capital city.
A whopping 4,938,000 made the journey to see Dublin in 2015.
While in 9th place Kilkenny attracted 267,000 and 263,000 visited 10th placed Waterford.
Wexford wasn't too far behind in 12th place with 221,000 and Tipp attracted 180,000 in 15th place.
But out of 24 placings Carlow came in 21st with only 62,000 overseas visitors last year.
Tourist generated revenue across the region totalled 283 million euro.
