A ballad called "Together" will be Ireland's entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
It will be performed by Ryan O'Shaughnessy, who also co-wrote the song, at the first semi-final in Lisbon on May 8th.

O'Shaughnessy first appeared on RTÉ's Fair City before going on as an act on The Voice of Ireland.
The Dublin native later came in fifth place on Britain's Got Talent.
Over 300 songs were submitted to RTE for consideration and it was chosen by a panel of music industry professionals.
