Police in Atlanta are pursuing more charges against a man who ran on stage during a Beyonce and Jay-Z concert.
Reports suggest that 26-year-old Anthony Charles Thomas Maxwell took to the stage and approached Jay-Z as the On the Run II concert was ending on Saturday night.
In a post on Instagram, Beyonce’s spokeswoman Yvette Noel-Schure said the singer and Jay-Z are fine.
The married couple are currently touring together as 'The Carters', following the release of their joint album Everything is Love.
The incident happened towards the end of the concert and security dealt with the situation after the rappers dancers ran to his aid.
Speaking to the Associated Press, Atlanta Police officer Lisa Bender said that the intruder was initially issued a citation for disorderly conduct and subsequently released.
Police have since added a charge of simple battery.
The man was treated for minor injuries, and Ms Bender said there were no other injuries.
