The Coronas’ new album, Trust the Wire, has today entered the Irish charts as the official No.1, the band’s first No.1 album.
The chart-topping LP comes less than two weeks after the Dublin outfit performed at an exclusive listening party for Beat listeners.
Fighting off new releases from U2 and Alt-J, Trust the Wire has knocked Ed Sheeran’s record-breaking album ‘÷’ off the top spot.
Trust the Wire is the band’s fifth studio album and the first release on their own, newly created label, So Far So Good Records.

On the same day as reaching the tops of the charts, the band has sold-out their biggest-ever headline show, IMMA on 1st July, where 15,000 people will see them perform on home turf.
In addition, the band has sold-out their Sea Sessions, Galway Arts Festival and Live at the Marquee appearances. Any fans without a ticket wanting to catch the band this summer have only one opportunity left, Indiependence festival on 5th August in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
Trust the Wire was released worldwide this week and precedes live dates in the UK, Europe, US, and Australia later in the year.
