Taylor Swift

She stays out too late, got nothing in her brains, but that's what people say. Taylor Swift has captured millions with her music. From her country roots with songs like 'Love Story' and 'Teardrops on my Guitar' to her recent tracks like 'Me!' and 'You Need to Calm Down', Taylor Swift is another certainty for your go-to Summer tunes.

Cardi B

Cardi B is one of those people that always just seems to pop up on songs when you least expect her, but 'I like it like that'. From Cardi B's own songs like 'Bodak Yellow' and 'Please Me', to songs she has appeared on like 'Girls Like You' and 'Rodeo', she is a welcomed addition to the summer playlist

Lily Allen

A throwback but a welcomed one, Lily Allen dominated the late 2000s with songs like 'Not Fair', 'Smile' and 'LDN'. Allen is still releasing great songs, with new release 1% showing Allen back to her best, confirming her spot on any summer playlist.

Rihanna

Ri-Ri is absolutely owning her new girl boss status, with her new Fenty Beauty range absolutely making a killing. However we learned to love Rihanna in her 'Pon de Replay' days and nothing says a sunny afternoon spin like 'Shut Up and Drive'. Her most recent hits like 'Work' made us want to learn to twerk, and insiders say that we might just hear some new music from the Barbados babe this year.

Billie Eilish

17 year old Eilish has shot to the fame in the last year with her first hit 'when the party's over'. She definitely more of an artist to listen to if you're going for a stroll or are just in a chill kind of mood with other hits including 'wish you were gay' and 'bury a friend'.  But if the more chill vibes aren't for you "bad guy" is a weird and wonderful song just like Billie, and definitely warrants a bop.

Orla Gartland

This Irish woman has been making waves here and in UK with her indie-funk sound producing some seriously upbeat summer tunes. Her EP 'Flatline' was released in April and the Dublin singer has also seen success with her 2018 single 'I Go Crazy'. The 23 year old shot to fame on Youtube with her original songs gaining her thousands of followers worldwide. We'll be hearing much more from this red haired singer-songwriter who plays Whelan's this November.
