We're being encouraged to think before we pour this Christmas time.
Fats, oils and greases should never be put down the drain as it can cause significant blockages in the system.

Speaking to Beat news, she outlines how people should dispose of their fats, oils and greases:
"What you need to do is make sure they are cool and then carefully pour it into some kind of heat-proof container - I usually just pour mine into a jam jar that I have sitting beside the oven."
"Then once it's cool, you can put it in a waste bag and pop it into your bin."
