A woman was left very confused after receiving an invoice of £29 (€33.40) from her date.
Fiona Hope explained on her Tiktok account that she had food and drinks with a man, and had offered to pay for herself on the date, but he insisted on covering the bill. After their date, she sent him a message to say she did not feel a "romantic connection" and he responded with a digital invoice.

The invoice was listed as "Invoice #16" with the reference "unsuccessful date".
It then broke down the costs of the date food was £17 and drinks were £12. The due date for payment was listed as "ASAP".
Comments on the video were divided, as some men praised the guy as a "hero" for his novel approach to dating. Another person suggested that Fiona counter the message with her own invoice, asking for a refund for her wasted time, "including getting ready, transport, makeup, outfit."
Fiona has since revealed in a media interview that she opted to block the guy and refused to pay the invoice.
