A Tipperary woman has been reunited with her stolen pup nearly a year after she was taken from outside her house.
Tiny was last seen by her owner, Emma Carroll on August 25, 2017, before a black Volkswagen Passat pulled up outside her house in Emly and picked up her from the front garden.
Thankfully her pet pooch was microchipped and Carroll didn’t give up hope by setting up a Facebook page vying for information on her whereabouts.
“All this time has passed and still no word of our little girl. We just want to remind everyone of the details,” she wrote in 2018 whilst thinking all hope was lost.
But thanks to a wonderful member of the public, who provided important information and a solid lead eariler this month, Emma was reunited with Tiny on July 10.

Taking to the Facebook page Bring Tiny Home, Emma wrote: "Words fail us at this time. It’s been 11 months of torture.
Thank you to the wonderful person who contacted us, they know who they are. Without their help, our girl would still be missing.
Never ever lose hope, sometimes it’s all you have to cling to but it’s worth clinging to! And please microchip and register. It’s the most important proof of ownership you can bestow on your pet
In an additional post, she updated followers on what Tiny has been doing she returning home.
“In the 24 hours that she has been home she has done everything that she had done before she was stolen. Her favourite chair her favourite toys, it’s so unreal to watch her slip back into her routine,” she wrote.
“Even when she met her canine sister and her canine cousins it was if they had never been apart!”
