Are you a Barbie girl or an Oppenheimer guy?
Researchers at Digital Funnel have analysed Google searches to discover the biggest Barbie and Oppenheimer fans in Ireland ahead of this weekend's double movie release.
They found the town of Tramore, in Co. Waterford to be one of the most Barbie obsessed towns, with Tramore ranking fifth among Irish locations searching Google for the term"Barbie."
The beach town is not just a Barbie doll devotee though, Tramore seems to be cinema-mad in general. The town ranked eighth in all locations searching for the term "Oppenheimer" and scored second place in the scale of the "Most Cinema Obsessed Town" in all of Ireland.
Digital Funnel examined Google search terms over the past seven days to compile its list, and show which towns have the most excitement for Barbie, Oppenheimer, and cinema in general.

The release of the new Mission Impossible movie, and upcoming launch of Barbie and Oppenheimer has caused something of a growth spurt in cinema interest nationwide. According to Digital Funnel, in the past month alone, searches for "cinema times" have increased 127% across Ireland, while searches for Omniplex, one of Ireland's biggest cinema chains, have jumped 212%.
