More than half of us have pretended to have watched TV shows we've never seen - to avoid being left out of conversations.
1,300 people took part in a Radio Times survey, which revealed that 676 people (52%) pretended to watch a popular show.
14% of people told fibs about watching the Netflix hit Stanger Things when in reality they had never seen any.

Taking the number two spot was the HBO series Game of Thrones (10%), followed by Breaking Bad (7%).
While 2% of people lied about watching Netflix's The Crown just to be included in a conversation and just 1% pf people said they watched Schitt’s Creek.
