This dairy delight is a firm favourite amongst South-East sunshine revellers.
With temperatures soaring we visited Gordon's ice-cream shop on Clonea beach to find out what makes the prefect cone.
Co. Waterford native Maggie O'Neill told Beat News "it's absolutely crazy to be honest, we have queues down to the back of the shop a lot of the time."

Maggie added, "Every second sale is for a 99, once people see one person with it everybody wants a 99.
The girls working here all have 4 or 5 summer's experience of working here so we can make them in our sleep at this stage."
