Derval O’Rourke has given birth to a baby boy.
The new arrival was welcomed on Mother’s Day, 11 days after her due date and weighed weighing nine pounds four ounces.

Archie O’Leary arrived on Sunday morning nice & early for Mother’s Day.
Derval and her husband, fellow Olympian Peter O'Leary, already parent a little girl, Dafne, who was born in 2015.
After fans and fellow athletes left comments congratulating the family, O’Rourke took to her story to thank everyone.
She went on to say that “big sister Dafne adores him” and that they are very proud of him.
She finally assured fans that she'd update her social media soon but for now is immersed in a world of feeding and baby loveliness.
