The newest way to spark up a connection in the South East, Katch, is hosting virtual singles events in Waterford.
The video-focused virtual dating app was created by Wexford DJ and entrepreneur Paul Numan.
Seeing a gap for a personable approach to the often sterile online dating scene, Paul Numan created Katch - a dating app where like-minded individuals from the South East can chat virtually.
Once your account is set up, Katch performs a deep personality analysis, processing your likes and loves in order to match you with potential connections in your locality.
Singles can then record and send video messages to forge a deeper connection with other singles.
To prove that you're more than just a simple like, the app also allows other members to praise your humour, sincerity and even your physique.
The social focus of the app is its live virtual dating events which are hosted by founder Paul, whose years of DJ experience ensure that the conversation flows and the craic is had.
“All encounters at our dating events are face to face and completely managed by our professional events team", says Paul.
"People get introduced to others who match their personality so it makes initial conversations relaxed and easy."
Once an event has wrapped up, participants can view user profiles and set up real-world meet-ups.
You can check out the latest dating events right here.
So, what are you waiting for? Katch can be downloaded from the Apple Play and Android App stores or via katch.ie.
