A County Waterford beach has received high praise from Google Maps users.
A list of beaches across Ireland has been compiled from reviews left by the tech company's users.
According to Google Maps, Ballydowane Beach on the Copper Coast in Co. Waterford has received 143 five-star reviews, with Keem Beach in Achill, Co Mayo topping the poll with 1,504 five-star reviews.

The Co. Mayo beach was also the third-best beach in the world by Condé Nast Traveller magazine back in 2019.
The list compiled below from Buzz.ie, looked at beaches in Ireland with more than 50 reviews on the Google Maps app and ranked them by their overall rating and percentage of five-star reviews.
Although Kerry is the number one at Gaelic Football this year, they had to settle for second in the field of beaches receiving 1,352 five-star reviews.
Silver Strand in Glencolumbkille, Co Donegal has 760 five-star reviews putting this spectacular beach third.
There's a big gap between the top three beaches in Ireland, with the bottom seven receiving under 300 five-star reviews;
