Retail giant Argos has pulled the use of an "outdated" and "non-inclusive" phrase from online and in-store following a public backlash.
A poster, which was used both online and in one known Argos store, refers to the retailer's store-to-door offering which it described as a "two-man delivery" service.
Initially highlighted by Twitter user Lisa48956165, the problematic poster has elicited a swift response from the UK company.
@Argos_Online - I noticed in one of your stores your ad was sexist 2 man delivery, hopefully moving forward you'll change this to 2 person delivery or something :) pic.twitter.com/QkYQUx9Ccy

The campaign quickly sparked debate among shoppers with many claiming the phrase was "offensive" and "sexist".
In response to the controversy, Argos will now use the words "person" or "people" instead of "man".
It is unknown whether the phrase was used in Irish Argos outlets.
Commenting on the phrase's in-store and online removal, Argos said: "We aim to be an inclusive retailer where people love to work and shop. We updated our wording earlier this year to ensure we reflect the diverse communities, customers and colleagues we work with.
"We have recently changed the terminology for our delivery types which I'm sure will be reflected in our stores in due course."
