Aldi's sell-out heated clothes horse returns to stores nationwide this Sunday, October 9th.
As energy costs increase and the weather worsens, customers are expected to rush in for this handy clothes-drying hack – it'll be like the queues for discount ski gear we all witnessed circa Celtic Tiger all over again!
The clothes horse will retail at €49.99 and it is reported it will cost just cents per hour to use. It comprises 20 heating tubes which heat up as soon as it s plugged in, while its lightweight foldable design should make it suitable for most spaces.
While most reviews of the product are positive so far, some customers have underlined it is not as thorough as a tumble dryer...
One dissatisfied customer's review on Aldi's website says, "It only dried the parts that touch the bar even after a couple of hours and with a cover. You would need to constantly turn the clothes around for them to dry properly."

Still, for the bones of fifty quid, we think it's worth a punt!
