It seems we're a grumpy lot in the mornings, as a new survey finds more than a third of us don't smile at anyone before 9 every morning.
A survey by BUPA claims it's down to people lacking confidence or feeling awkward.
It also claims that many people are self conscious about their teeth, and don't smile because of it.
Another survey also finds that a quarter of us don't smile in selfies because we're worried our teeth will look bad on social media.
