At the moment I'm trying to organise the Debs! Numbers aren't too big so hopefully it'll go ahead.

This is the week I should have finished my Leaving Cert exams. I should have walked out of my Music exam on Thursday and been finished however that didn't happen.
This week my family and I have been doing alot of hiking and baking. We've been having a lazy few weeks only doing jobs at home like cleaning the windows and painting.
I've been reading often and have started reading a book called I'll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson. It's very entertaining and I am enjoying it so far.
I'm getting slightly crazy being at home but I'm hoping to get out and about soon.

This week was the first time I met up with my friends since the schools closed. It was a great day and things began to feel like they were back to normal. We are getting ready to celebrate the lifting of restrictions on Monday with a trip into Kilkenny city and a walk around. On Tuesday, I went back to school to get the last few bits from my locker and said goodbye to my principal. I've only just sorted out my school books and put them away this week as a final farewell to secondary school.
Although the weather hasn't been great this week, I've still been keeping busy around the house and getting jobs done to fill my time. I also took part in a 5 km for the local primary school that was organised by the GAA to raise money for the school. It was a great fundraising event and created a sense of unity in the parish.

This week I applied for my predicted grades. I kept all my subjects at Higher Level and found the process was much quicker and easier than led to believe.
On Wednesday, I had a virtual Zoom call with my teachers and classmates to celebrate our graduation. We watched a video of our years in school shown through a slideshow. It was a nice way for the teachers to show they were thinking of us by putting so much time and effort into it. However, I'm still slightly disappointed that we missed out on an actual ceremony.
Since ‘officially’ finishing school, I've been reading more often and catching up on shows and films I haven't had time to watch such as Normal People and Tiger King. I also plan to finally watch classic film series like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings as I've never seen them and will never have free time like this again.
I'm feeling much more relaxed about my leaving cert points now that I've had more time to think about it but my main concern remains the same as I have only six subjects and no ‘spare’ one to fall back on if my grade in any isn't good enough. I'm remaining optimistic about my grades and keeping busy so as to not dwell on it.
