With almost 30 years of valued childcare service provided to families in Waterford and surrounding counties, Waterford Childcare Centre, Northern Extension, Industrial Estate is currently recruiting qualified and experienced childcare and school age care practitioners.

Applicants with a QQI Level 6 Major Award (or equivalent) in Childcare and experience in the sector are invited to apply for the following positions:
- School Age Childcare Practitioner working 20-hours p/week with our school age children.
- General Childcare Practitioner working 39-hours p/week throughout the centre, assisting when staff are on leave.
- AIM Support Practitioner working up to 15 hours p/week, term time only as per the centre’s 38-week ECCE calendar.
Rates of pay for the School Age Childcare Practitioner and General Practitioner are based on qualifications and experience. The AIM Support Practitioner position is funded by Pobal and rates of pay are linked to the T & C of the Access & Inclusion Model.
Recognising the individual needs and strengths of the children attending our service forms the basis of the care and learning we provide within an emergent and inquiry-based curriculum.
