Wallace’s Homevalue Hardware is looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will work five days per week.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensuring the efficient and professional delivery of customers orders.
- Interacting with customers in a positive manner and dealing with any queries they may have.
- Loading, unloading, preparing and operating a delivery vehicle.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A full, clean C licence is essential and must have CPCs.
- Rigid lorry experience is a necessity.
- Have knowledge of hardware and construction materials.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Manual handling experience.
- Forklift experience preferable.
