Seedtech Logistics Coordinator
The Arvum Group is an innovative group of Agri-Businesses, specialising in seed, animal nutrition and related areas.
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Logistics Coordinator to assist our Operations Manager in Seedtech (Arvum group Company) coordinate between warehouse, sales and distribution partners to promote an effective and efficient supply chain delivering exceptional customer service.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is based at our main production facility in Belview Port, Waterford.
The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Coordinating with logistics partners to ensure prompt and correct movement of our products
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Collation of sales orders
- Preparation of shipping manifests and delivery dockets
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Tracking and fixing shipping issues
- Preparing invoices
- Ensuring customer and supplier service level agreements are adhered to
- Contributing to the development of our processes and procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- an organised approach to their duties and an ability to plan and co-ordinate activities sensibly and efficiently
- excellent communication skills
- an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team – taking a professional, co-operative and can-do approach to challenges and opportunities
- excellent IT skills including MS Office software
