Sláintecare Community Food and Nutrition Worker
A vacancy has arisen for a full-time (35 hours per week) Sláintecare Community Food and Nutrition Worker. The purpose of the role is to provide capacity for the Sláintecare Healthy Communities to improve community health and wellbeing in the Waterford Healthy Community areas by addressing the issues of poor diet and food poverty. The Community Food and Nutrition Worker will be based at Sacred Heart Family Resource Centre and will implement evidence based effective responses to improve the food environment in communities, addressing food poverty and reducing health inequalities as part of the Sláintecare Healthy Communities and where appropriate in collaboration with other initiatives. This is not a clinical role.
