Optimize Recruitment is seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV Drainage Survey Technician for our client, a leading company in environmental solutions for a position in North County Kilkenny.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our engineers, site crews and customers on a daily basis

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Preparing Information Packs: Compile comprehensive information packs for site crews, ensuring all necessary details are included to facilitate efficient operations.
• Interpreting Site Drawings: Utilize strong analytical skills to measure and interpret site drawings accurately. Assist in the generation of quotations based on these interpretations.
• Report Generation: Process information gathered from site activities and generate detailed reports for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Assisting with GPS Surveys: Support the team with GPS surveys on client sites, contributing to accurate data collection and analysis.

Requirements of the role include:

• Drawing Interpretation Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and quantify site drawings with precision. Experience in interpreting engineering drawings is highly desirable.
• Experience in Surveying: Previous experience in GPS surveying or Pipeline CCTV surveying is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Software: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for report generation and communication purposes.
• Technical Education: A background or qualification in fields such as Construction, Engineering, or similar is preferred. Completion of courses in AutoCAD, PLC, or related subjects is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with site crews, clients, and internal teams.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail, especially when dealing with technical drawings and reports.
