 Job Description: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, and driving sales growth. You will lead a dedicated team, manage inventory, and analyse reports to make informed business decisions.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of employees.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer issues.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking products.
  • Overseeing and implementing margins, pricing of products and stock control
  • Maintaining awareness of market trends and monitoring competitors
  • Analyse sales reports and other data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage store budgets and financial performance.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

 Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in report analysis and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of hardware and marine products is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
