Main Duties and Responsibilities of Sales Representative

  • Office based sales, as well as travelling to construction and agricultural building sites
  • Generating new business and dealing with inbound enquiries
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Supporting existing and prospective customers with product and commercial information
  • Direct communication with the client on technical, operational and account information
  • Co-ordinate or mediate communications with relevant staff and the client on any of the above where required
  • Office administration, co-ordinating deliveries and dealing with dispatch queries

Experience in the construction / manufacturing industry

  • Strong administration skills
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Full clean driving license

General Operatives

We are hiring for general operatives for our precast factories near Bunclody.

Experience in a similar role - concrete and steel works, operation of mechanical equipment - is an advantage

Safe pass, manual handling and forklift certs are also an advantage

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Heavy Goods Mechanic

  • Repair, servicing and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles
  • Conducting regular inspections of heavy goods vehicles to identify faults or issues
  • Conducting routine servicing and maintenance of heavy goods vehicles
  • Carrying out repairs to engines and other components of heavy goods vehicles
  • Conducting pre-CVRT inspections and preparing vehicles for CVRT
  • Completing accurate and timely records of work undertaken and parts used
  • Liasing with other members of the team to ensure efficient running of the workshop
  • Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standard in compliance with health and safety regulations

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or time served
  • A minimum 3 years experience working as a HGV mechanic
  • A thorough understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems of heavy goods vehicles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
