Cost Accountant
Main Duties & responsibilities
- Ensuring financial efficiency and profitability through through cost accounting and insightful margin analysis.
- Meticulously analysing cost expenditure and production within the manufacturing unit
- Conducting in-depth margin analysis & identifying patters, opportunities, and potential risks associated with production costs and pricing strategies.
- Cultivating and maintaining cost accounting systems and practices with care and attention to detail.
- Ensuring precise and timely financial reporting.
- Collaborating with production and finance departments to develop cost cutting strategies.
- Prepare annual budget.
- Liaising with external parties including external accountant.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
- Qualified Accountant
- Experience in a similar role (2+ years)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong IT and systems skills
- Work on own initiative and to a high standard
