We are a long established, family owned business that is currently recruiting for a warm, friendly outgoing & Experienced Barista with an eye for quality and details to work in our new coffee bar in Ferns, North County Wexford. The ideal person should be passionate about quality speciality coffee preparation and customer service. This is NOT a seasonal or weekend position. Early starts and weekend work

Barista Responsibilities:

• Open & set up Café Bar each morning.
• Making excellent coffee (dialling in, pulling shots, steaming & pouring milk).
• Greet customers, take their orders, and use excellent time management and organizational skills to prepare and serve coffee, cold drinks, teas, espresso, pastries, cookies and other sweets and drinks.
• Packaging food and beverages items for sale and take away.
• Cleaning and restocking work areas, emptying bins, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
• Training any new employees to high company standard.
• Stock and refill items such as coffee cups, take out containers, napkins, and utensils; supervise stock levels and communicate when necessary to ensure stock levels are always maintained.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls at all times
• The ability to work flexible hours and shifts including early morning, weekends, and bank holidays
• Other Ad hoc duties as required
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance 

Skills

• Barista Training
• Previous experience in a similar busy environment serving speciality coffee is essential.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

 Min 1 years’ experience as a qualified Barista

• HACCP training .
• Experience managing people is an advantage.
