Automatic Plastics Limited is a fast paced growing company producing plastic parts for the pharma/medtech sector. We currently have a number of positions for General Production Operatives for day/evening/night and weekend shifts, full and part time options available.
As a production operative your main duties will be;
1.1 To inspect, scrap or rework if necessary and pack parts according to the method prescribed in the quality documentation.
1.2 Be responsible for the smooth efficient running of machine(s).
1.3 Be flexible and to cooperate with their co-workers as part of an effective team.
1.4 Comply with all the terms of the contract of employment.
1.5 Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Remain at their designated machine(s) to inspect each individual part, rework if necessary, fail and put into scrap bin or pass and pack parts according to quality documentation.
- Ensure that there is a proper shift hand over of all relevant information to the incoming shift operator.
- Complete fully any documentation required including the daily operator sheet.
- Ensure work area is kept in a clean, organized and tidy state at all times.
- To always conduct themselves in a manner that is safe to themselves and others at all times
- Notify supervisor of any relevant issues such as high levels of scrap, machine downtime or any safety concern.
- Cooperate with any direction given by Supervisor, management or QC staff as long as it is safe to do so.
- To complete a fair share of shift workload and supporting fellow co-workers and is an effective team player.
1.6 To strictly comply to all approved procedures within the APL Quality Management System, at all times
1.7 Where identified to raise opportunities for improvement, which can be reviewed and if appropriate implemented within the APL Quality Management System
Full Training will be given to the right candidate
Weekend (Sat & Sun) availability is required.
