Beat will be Shaking their Buckets all across Waterford City & County today as part of Barnardos Ireland's National Collection Day.
Barnardos children’s charity is calling on the public to help them support children affected by homelessness by donating to their national collection day kindly supported by Dell EMC in towns across the county today.
There are 2,793 children currently affected by homelessness in Ireland.
Through their work across the country, Barnardos see that issues around coping with homelessness, difficulties accessing private rented accommodation and an inability to secure social housing, are constant struggles for so many families.
Barnardos work with children and families providing stability amidst the chaos and uncertainty of homelessness.
Through their services like breakfast and after school clubs, they help children and families through this time and work with them to try and improve their situation.
