On Friday 13th January 2017, Ireland’s most haunted house, Loftus Hall, will play host to the first couple to spend a night at the Hall in over 20 years.
The lucky winners joined more than 50 couples who travelled down to Loftus Hall in County Wexford during the Christmas/ New Year season to register for this competition. Following a very tight and tough decision making process, we can now reveal that the lucky winners are Cheryl Potts & Shane Delahunty from Mullinavat, Co. Kilkenny.
Aidan Quigley, proprietor of Loftus Hall, wished Cheryl and Shane all the best for their night at Loftus Hall. Aidan himself is very experienced in what can happen overnight in Ireland’s most haunted house. “Although I do relish everything the house has to offer, there have been some nights when I have been here very late and I started to feel a certain unease; like I was trespassing.
"I, and all the staff here, have had unusual personal experiences at Loftus Hall, and we are all very excited to find out what happens on Friday the 13th, when Cheryl & Shane spend the night.”
On Friday the 13th January, Cheryl & Shane will ascend the beautiful master staircase to spend the night in the “Devil’s Bedroom”, located on the first floor of Loftus Hall. This room is situated directly above the infamous Tapestry Room; considered to be the epicentre of the haunted Hall’s paranormal activity.
All poised to peak into Cheryl & Shane’s experiences on the night will be wishing them anything but a good night’s sleep, as their adventures will be live-streamed from the Loftus Hall’s website (www.loftushall.ie)
The following night (14th January) will showcase the first paranormal lockdown of 2017, making it an action-packed start to the New Year 2017 in Loftus Hall. Please see loftushall.ie/booking to secure your places on this premier night.
