It looks like Zendaya is making a solid return to the music industry.
After nearly a decade following the release of her self-titled album, she has returned to making music, working with Euphoria composer Labrinth on songs for the HBO drama's second season.
Zendaya co-wrote two songs from the show's season 2 finale: "I'm Tired," which played over the end credits, and "Elliot's Song," which new character Elliot sang to Rue in an extended scene.
On Friday, Zendaya thanked her fans for the warm reception to the songs, calling her work on the music a "little tiny toe-dip" back into music.
On Twitter, she wrote: "I stepped away from music quite a while ago, for a number of reasons, but I still really love it, so the kindness and support I’ve received the past few days just for a little tiny toe dip back into some music means the absolute world to me..thanks<3"

According to People Magazine, though the star did also sing on Euphoria's first season, in the show's final scene, that track, called "All of Us," was solely written by Labrinth. She praised him on Instagram the day after the finale aired.
"Thank you bro for allowing me to write, create and share space with you on this very special song. I learn so much from you every time we work. Excited for what's to come," the actress wrote on her Instagram Story.
Zendaya stars as Rue in the popular HBO series Euphoria. She also stars alongside real-life boyfriend Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
