WATCH: Young singer breaks hearts with song for his granny on BGT

A 16 year old had the audience, judges and Ant & Dec in tears with his performance on Britain's Got Talent tonight.

Harry Gardner from Essex took to the piano to play his own song, Not Alone, which he wrote for his granny, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s three years ago.

The song recalls his favourite moments with his granny whose condition deteriorated very quickly. She died last week after the recording of the audition.

Harry is hoping to perform the audition song at her funeral, which will be held in the next two weeks.

Amanda Holden told him "Harry, it really moved me, I just wish your grandmother could see what you've done today because I'm sure she'd be so proud of you".

Alesha added: "I think it takes real courage to put your heart and soul into a song the way you did, that was a fantastic audition.

Harry had posted a tribute to his nan on Facebook earlier this week.
