We think we can safely say Christmas is here...
A little later than usual, British retailer, John Lewis, has finally released its 2022 Christmas advert. So, does it stand up to the hype?
This year's ad is set to a festive cover of the pop-punk classic 'All the Small Things' by Blink-182 and follows a wannabe skateboarder trying (and failing) to learn the sport in the run-up to the festive period.
The ad strikes a light tone until the closing moments when it hits home with a powerful and universal message.
John Lewis' latest follows 2021's extra terrestrial-themed feature - an unlikely friendship between a little boy and an alien who crash-landed on earth right before Christmas.
Previous festive ads for the UK department store racked up millions of views online, with memorable storylines including the Old Man Who Lived on the Moon in 2015 and Buster the Boxer Dog in 2016.
So, what do you think? Were you in tears by the end?
