The 2017 Oscars have come to an end; the red carpet has been rolled up and there was no Irish success overnight.
There was plenty of drama, with La La Land being announced as the winner of Best Picture instead of Moonlight. You can read more about that here.
Jimmy Kimmel had the prestigious job of hosting the ceremony and Twitter was divided:
