Viral TikTok reveals why Jacques 'left' the Love Island villa

A viral TikTok has speculated why Jacques O'Neill "left" the villa during this year's Love Island.

The rugby player left the show during an episode that aired on July 12th, with ITV releasing a statement before the episode aired saying they support Jacques' decision.

Jacques explained he left the villa for his own benefit, as he wasn't feeling himself and wanted to sort out his "head" before continuing any romantic relationship.

When the 24-year-old was in the villa at the time, he was coupled up with Paige but was in the dog house for a couple of nights following his antics in Casa Amor.

Everything got a bit hectic soon after as Season Four Islander Adam Collard returned to the show and took a keen interest in Paige.

To no one's surprise, Jacques did get a bit heated over the new boy's keen interest in Paige, and a couple of episodes later, he made his choice to leave.

However, according to one viral TikTok video, it's reported not all is how it seems to viewers of the show.

It's reported from a series of WhatsApp messages from a source close to the Love Island production team that Jacques was actually told to leave the villa.

It's understood that the production team intervened when Jacques was being misogynistic and did a "deaf impression" of fellow Islander Tasha during his clash with Adam Collard.

According to these messages, the production team told Jacques to leave the villa and in turn, he "had a fit" and said he would "go to the papers" if they didn't give him a "grand exit".

Jacques did not attend the Love Island Reunion episode on Sunday either and has already made headlines this week as another Islander Remi has accused both him and Luca Bish of bullying him while he was in the villa.

Remi took to Instagram to say he "wanted justice"

"@loveisland ? I never joined their live so I didn’t comment actually. A fake account called remilamb0 did. Don’t know why these guys have such a problem with me, clearly got some serious issues they need to sort out.

Everyone said I lied about the way I was treated in that villa, but this here is an example of what was going on whilst I was in there. Don’t know why they wasn’t kicked out for their behaviour to be honest. It’s not banter, it’s clear signs of bullying.

I wish everyone could see all of the crap I went through. There’s 24 hours in a day and yous only seen like about 3-5 10 second clips of me out of the whole day, so you could never tell what was truly happening.

Jacques said bad things about my appearance and the way I speak, whilst Luca was encouraging it. After about 3 strikes from Jacques I told him I won’t be speaking to him anymore in the villa. Later on he tried apologising to me but like 10 minutes after he started with the snide comments again. I’ve tried to avoid this guy multiple times but he always ends up starting again. I don’t know when it will stop.

Worst person to represent mental health and ADHD campaigns. He’s still out here mocking not just me but other islanders too. You’d think with such a big platform they would use it to promote peace, but they’re using it to troll and they’re loving the attention. Immature.

These guys are not role models or good people. They have not once thought about my mental health. If I wasn’t soo strong minded I could’ve done something stupid to myself by now, but they don’t care at all.

I want justice."

Of course, nothing has been confirmed by ITV2 about the new reason circulating online about Jacques' departure from the show.

And this is just speculation from a few screenshots and an unknown source, but people have taken to Twitter to say they are not surprised.
