Tom Hanks Donates Blood Plasma

Tom Hanks has donated blood plasma to scientists fighting COVID-19.

The actor and his wife Rita Wilson were both diagnosed with the disease last month but have fully recovered.

Blood plasma from former sufferers contains antibodies important for treating patients and coming up with a vaccine.

Hanks posted a picture on Instagram with the message “Here’s last week’s bag of plasma. Such a bag!  After the paperwork, it’s as easy as taking a nap."
