On Sunday 18th December 2016, it was revealed that Ireland's family was no other than the Cummins family from Co. Tipperary.
The Tipp family consisting of dad Jim and his children Mark, Henry and Ciara won the title of 'Ireland's fittest family' as well as €15,000 cash.
Speaking on the show after the win, Jim explained, " We’re the first Tipperary family to do it and get the title".
The filming of the show ran for several weeks on RTÉ One and saw families compete against each other in a series of obstacle courses including a 2 tonne container pull and the notorious Jacob's ladder.
The Cummins family were coached by Anna Geary, a former Cork All Star Camogie captain.
