It's official: Tiger King season 2 is coming.
Netflix have announced that the docuseries that hooked the nation during the pandemic is getting a second series and it will premiere this year.

It's unclear at what point in time the second season will pick up on and also who exactly will feature. However, the teaser trailer for Netflix's slate of upcoming crime dramas shows clips of Carole Baskin and Jeff Lowe as well as Joe Exotic who is phoning in from jail.
Exotic, who's real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is currently serving a 17-year sentence for attempting a murder for hire plot aimed at Baskin.
Baskin previously slammed the Tiger King "salacious and sensational" so it's unclear how heavily she'll feature.
Directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin are returning for the second installment, as well as executive producers Chris Smith and Fisher Stevens. Good and Chaiklin will also serve as executive producers
The news comes as Netflix announces it's slate of true crime that will be released in 2022 which includes 'the Tinder Swindler' a feature on a con man who poses as a billionaire on a dating app.
