The reality tv show first aired in America on MTV in 2004 and wrapped up in 2007. The reboot of the 00s show will see cars being transformed in the UK rather than the US, and gone are the original crew which featured host and rapper Xzibit.
The new face of Pimp My Ride UK will keep the rapper tradition going, with Lady Leshurr taking the reigns.
According to Top Gear, the garage where cars will be pimped is located in Surrey called Wrench Studios, and one of the cars featured in the new series will be a Fast and Furious-inspired Mitsubishi GTO.
The new series will feature on MTV’s YouTube channel from August 19th in partnership with eBay!
