The organiser of last year's Eurovision Song Contest is calling for Russia to be banned from May’s competition.

The Dutch broadcaster Avrotros says Europe must "unite and show what we stand for" after Russian forces invaded Ukraine.
Earlier this week Eurovision said it plans to allow Moscow to compete, describing itself as a "non-political cultural event".
