One Direction fans are once again living up their reputation for being the best in the world if not, the strangest.
Fans of the boyband have pleaded with Madame Tussauds to let them keep their wax body parts. It comes after the London attraction announced it was retiring their exhibit.
They kept the figures of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan together even after the band went on hiatus. They pursued their own solo careers six years ago.
So, with the waxworks exhibit ending, they have been flooded with messages begging their staff to hand them over.
Fans asked for individual body parts including the lips, limbs, and little fingers of Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis, and Niall. Fans have even offered to pay delivery costs, which is nice of them. One superfan even offered to charter a private jet to Oz!
Speaking to the media General manager Tim Waters said: “Six years on from going their separate ways, the number of requests we’ve received from One Direction fans offering to take ownership of all, or part of, our One Direction figures now they’ve been retired shows what an impact they’ve made on their fans.
“One superfan even said they’d be willing to hire a private jet from Sydney to fly the figures out to them!”
