The novel 'Normal People' has been banned in some Florida libraries.
It's after a new law allowing schools to get rid of books they feel are unsuitable for young readers. Normal People is one out of 58 books banned.
The story follows two teenagers from Sligo navigating their lives through college in Dublin.
The new law also states that anyone who selects library materials will have to complete training to do so.
Certain mathematics textbooks have also been removed from schools under the law. Any of the textbooks that included references to Critical Race Theory and for having other issues that don’t meet their standards have been removed.
