Second-hand clothes are going to become a central part of the next series of Love Island.

A shared pre-loved wardrobe's going to be built in the new villa for contestants to sift through for outfits.

eBay is behind the idea as it claims UK shoppers are becoming increasingly conscious of fast fashion and opting to buy more second-hand garments instead.

100,000 people applied for last year's show, which was won by Millie and Liam with reports suggesting that we could see a new setting for this season's Love Island.

It comes as bosses of the reality TV show have reportedly got rid of the dating series' famous villa after five years and are on the lookout for a new one in sunny Majorca.

There was a change of scenery for the Winter Series of Love Island in 2020, with production setting up shop in South Africa but the famous fire pit returned for 2021.

2022 will mark the eighth series of the ITV show.
