She may have been quiet on the music front recently, but Jessie J's been hard at work on other projects - including making a movie.
She loans her voice to a sloth in the new Ice Age: Collision Course film, which is out in cinemas now.
Jessie explained how it took a while to find the right project to work on she said "I've been offered a lot of movie roles and nothing has felt right! For one, the time I had to really kind of do justice to a character but also just for me voice stuff and animation is one of my dreams so I felt like I could really focus on making it great!"
Her last album Sweet Talker was released in 2014. The album spent a total of 4 weeks inside the Top 40 of the UK Albums Charts considerably less than that of her previous albums Alive and Who You Are. Despite charting higher than previous albums in the US, it sold considerably less than her first album.
Maybe giving the music a break is exactly what the doctor ordered!
