Ireland have released their Eurovision Song for 2017. Brendan Murray will perform this year's entry, Dying To Try, in Kyiv in May.
Murray was selected internally by RTÉ who used the same process last year to choose Nicky Byrne to represent us. He failed to reach the final.
You may recognise Murray as a member of boyband Hometown who's debut single went to number 1 in Ireland. He was chosen by Louis Walsh who had been tasked with choosing Ireland's entry this year.
Ireland will take part in semi-final 2 on Thursday May 11th. The last time we qualified for the final was in with Ryan Dolan in 2013.
Italy are currently favourites with the bookies to win with Belgium a close second.
