Illegal rave could be heard '15 miles away'

Another week, another illegal rave in the UK countryside.

An illegal rave in the rural county of Devon in the UK has prompted numerous complaints in the local area.

According to Cornwall Live and Mixmag the illegal party took place in the early hours of Saturday, November 12.

Loud music could be heard until 9am the next morning, according to locals in the area.

Sharing footage from her Ring doorbell one woman said she confronted the ravers as they sped through the area of Boyton and Holsworthy on Saturday.

“I was awoken at 4:AM. It felt like the house was vibrating, yet I live many miles away from where the rave was being held,” she told her local newspaper.

Other locals were equally unimpressed. They claimed the music could be heard through the night from “15 miles away” as well as dangerous driving in the area.

Police attended the scene of the rave and were on site for hours, according to the force incident manager (FIM) for Devon and Cornwall Police. “Police are still on scene but the music is off and everybody is leaving,” they said on Saturday morning.
