Dave McPhillips has announced that he is taking a break from the Coronas.
The guitarist, who has been with the band since their first album 12 years ago, made the announcement on Twitter.
He blamed a hectic, "hard to predict" tour schedule.
He said that he will see the current Long Way Home tour through, but once the last show is over at the end of December he plans to leave to pursue other projects.
