20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for X-Men spin-off, The New Mutants.
Director Josh Boone (The Fault In Our Stars) has said that the movie is a fully-fledged horror movie set within the X-Men universe.
It is one of four X-Men movies currently in development at Fox with Deadpool 2, X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Gambit all set to be released within the next 2 years. The universe has also recently expanded to TV with Legion airing earlier in the year and The Gifted currently in its first season.
The New Mutants stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Maisie Williams (Arya in Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Blu Hunt as Dani Moonstar, Henry Zaga as Sunspot and Alice Braga as Dr Cecilia Rayes.
The team first appeared in the comics in 1982.
