Those still hoping to snap up tickets for Ed Sheeran's two 3Arena appearances will be left disappointed.
Tickets for the two shows on April 12 & 13 sold out in less than two minutes this morning.
The sell-out will come as a letdown to those who braved the harsh weather conditions last night in the hope of getting their hands on a physical ticket.
As many as 160 fans waited outside Waterford's only Ticketmaster retailer this morning, while in Kilkenny, people were reported to have started queuing as early as Tuesday evening.

At first, they were hopeful:

But as is de rigueur for ticket purchasing of late, some fans who opted for the online option were left frustrated by Ticketmaster's purchase process, with many taking to social media to express their anger:
@edsheeran wish I was a robot could maybe get 2 tickets for Dublin #ticketmastershite

@edsheeran please add more Dublin dates! Your shows sold out in 5 min and I couldn't get a ticket! 😭😭

There’s speculation two more Irish dates will be added to the line up – no doubt we won’t have to wait too long to find out as this morning’s batch are expected to sell out instantly.
