Victoria Beckham has come under fire from fans after sharing revealing pictures of her 17-year-old son on Instagram.
Victoria posted pictures from an i-D magazine photoshoot yesterday, featuring a pink-haired Cruz Beckham. Cruz, who turned 17 on Sunday, showed the aspiring musician topless and wearing white boxers, with his jeans pulled down to his ankles. However, at the time of the shoot, Cruz was 16.
Cruz is following in his father's footsteps with the shots taken by the same photographer, Steven Klein. He shot football star David Beckham in a similar pose for Arena Homme+ all the way back in 2000.
Victoria captioned the Insta post with “Big first day as a 17-year-old! @cruzbeckham for @i_d, so proud.”
Followers wasted no time in responding with their honest opinions, though. Flooding the comments section and branding the images “scary” and “sad”.
David Beckham found himself in a similar position when he did the same thing. After sharing the same images to his Instagram account, along with the caption: “So cool @cruzbeckham for @i_d such a proud dad.”
The images of Cruz were taken as part of a series of five different covers for i-D’s Spring 2022 issue, titled “Out of Body.”
